Welcome to Project Management in Programa! Whether you're overseeing one project or many, our intuitive tools will help you efficiently manage tasks, deadlines, and resources. Let's dive into the essentials to get you started.

Please note: Our platform's design has recently been updated, so you may notice differences in screenshots and videos in this guide compared to the current layout. The steps and functionality outlined in this guide remains the same.


Project Management Boards

Your Project Management Board is the heart of your project, where you organize and monitor all tasks. You project will have a default "Untitled Board" available for you.

  1. How to Rename Your Board:

  • Click the three dots in the top toolbar of your board.

  • Select "Rename."

  • Type in your new board name and click "Save."

2. How to Rename and Add a Column:

  • Click the dropdown arrow next to the column name.

  • Select "Rename."

  • Type in your new column name and press "Enter."

  • To add a column, select "Add column" to the right of your page. Rename the column

4. How to Add a Task:

  • Click the "+ Add new card" button beneath your column heading.

  • Type in a card title and press "Enter."

  • Click the task card to open the task details window.

  • Here, you can add a due date, description, custom tags, attachments, comments, and assign team members.

  • Click "Save" when you're done.

  • To move tasks across columns, simply drag and drop the task card


Studio WIP (Work in Progress)

Studio WIP provides a consolidated view of all tasks across your projects. Instead of navigating into each individual project, you can conveniently monitor all your active tasks in one organized space.

How It Works:

  • Tasks added to your project boards will automatically filter into the Studio WIP list- make sure you toggle on "Show on Studio WIP" in the three dot icon within your board.

  • Tasks are organized by due date, showing overdue tasks first, followed by tasks due today, tomorrow, upcoming tasks, and unscheduled tasks.

Adding & Managing Tasks in Studio WIP:

  • To ensure tasks from your Project Management boards show up in the Studio WIP, click on the three dots in your board and toggle on "Show on Studio WIP"

  • You can add project tasks directly from the Studio WIP page, saving you time compared to adding tasks individually within project boards.


Time Tracking

Experience seamless time tracking with the Programa Time Tracker. Here's how to get started:

  • Go to your Project Board or Studio WIP view.

  • Hover over a Task Card.

  • Click the Play button.

  • Stop the timer with the red Stop Button.

  • You can also add manual time entries from your time tracking screen by clicking on the "Add Time entry" button to the top right of the screen.

Your task information will be automatically recorded in your Time Tracking tab.
