This guide shows you how to organize your Schedule so you can efficiently manage products and minimize manual data entry.
Organizing your Schedule
You can easily organize your schedule by creating dedicated sections and reordering them as needed.
Creating sections
You can create multiple sections (e.g. by product category or location) or a single section housing all of your scheduled products.
Within your Schedule, click + New Section
Type a section name into the field
Press Enter
Navigating between sections
Once you've created multiple sections, use the navigation dropdown to jump between them without scrolling.
Click the View section button next to your Schedule tabs
Select the section you want to jump to
Moving sections
Reorder sections to match your preferred workflow or project requirements.
Navigate to the section you want to move
Hover over the right side of the section heading
Click the Up Arrow or Down Arrow to move it up or down the page

Understanding Schedule structure
Programa's flexible scheduling system lets you organize products in a way that works for your workflow. While we recommend organizing by product category, you can also structure by room or create one master Schedule with subsections.
Recommended structure by product category:
We suggest organizing your Schedules into four key categories:
Materials & Finishes
Fittings & Fixtures
Lighting & Electrical
FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)
Each Schedule can be further subdivided into broad product categories.
For example:
Materials & Finishes: Floor Finishes, Wall Finishes, Cabinetry Finishes, etc.
Lighting: Wall Lights, Downlights, Track & Strip Lighting, Pendant Lights, GPOs & Light Switches, etc.
With Programa's smart scheduling, each product only needs to be added once, even if itβs used in multiple locations. Any updates can be applied to a single entry and then duplicated across other schedules if needed.
To indicate placement, use Doc-Codes (document codes) or the Product Details field.
Note: This is a guideline, not a rule. If a different structure works better for your workflow, Programa can accommodate your preferred approach.
