How to create and edit custom Schedule statuses

Create, rename, recolour, and delete custom statuses for your Schedule items to track products through your studio's workflow.

Statuses help you track each product in your Schedule through your studio's workflow — from draft and quoting through to ordered and installed. Alongside Programa's default statuses, you can create your own custom statuses to match the way your studio works.


How to create, edit, or delete custom statuses

  1. Click the dropdown arrow next to your studio name in the top left corner of the screen to open your account settings.

  2. Select the Studio tab to access your studio profile and settings.

  3. Scroll to the Schedule Item Custom Statuses section. Here you can create new statuses, rename or delete existing ones, and update each status colour.

Your custom statuses are available across all Schedules in your studio. To apply one, click the Product Status selector on any product line in your Schedule.


Good to know

  • Statuses currently appear in the live (shared) Schedule view only — they are not shown on PDF exports. If you need a status-based export, filter your Schedule by status first, then export the filtered view.

  • Some statuses (such as Quoting, Ordered, or Installed) exclude products from bulk quote requests to prevent items being quoted twice. Learn more in How to request supplier quotes from your Schedules.

  • Setting a product's status to Hidden removes it from all shared and exported views and from financial totals.
