Before you begin: Check out our Project Management Overview to see how Studio View fits into your overall Project Management workflow.

Navigating Studio View

Studio View offers three ways to visualize your work:

  • Board View: Kanban-style layout showing task status and progress at a glance

  • List View: Detailed, sortable list providing a comprehensive view of your workload

  • Timeline View: Visual Gantt chart for tracking project schedules and deadlines

You can switch between these views at any time to match your workflow needs.

Using Board View

Board View uses a Kanban layout with status columns: To Do, In Progress, In Review, and Done.

Drag and drop tasks between columns to update their status. Each task card displays:

  • Task name

  • Assigned phase

  • Team member responsible

  • Target date

  • Subtask completion count

This view is ideal for quickly seeing where tasks stand in your workflow.

Using List View

List View organizes all project tasks in a sortable list format, grouped by status sections: To Do, In Progress, In Review, and Done.

Each task row shows:

  • Task name

  • Assigned phase

  • Team member responsible

  • Target date

  • Time tracked against the task

This view is best for detailed task management and tracking time across projects.

Using Timeline View

Timeline View displays project phases in a Gantt chart format, showing start and end dates on a visual timeline. You can switch between monthly, quarterly, or yearly formats for different planning perspectives.

This view provides high-level visibility of your project progress and helps identify scheduling conflicts.

Tips for managing your studio effectively

  • Review progress regularly: Check Board, List, and Timeline views frequently to stay updated on project status

  • Communicate changes: Keep your team informed about task updates, deadline shifts, and status changes

  • Optimize resources: Monitor workload distribution to prevent bottlenecks and delays

  • Copy tasks between projects: Use the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select Copy Phases and Tasks to replicate task structures across projects
