Use Schedules to specify and manage the products in a project. Each product has one record that contains its details.
Create schedules to show the information your client, team or trades need. Each schedule uses the same product records.
Start with All products
Open your project. Select Schedules → All products in the left-hand menu.
All products contains every product in the project. This includes furniture, lighting, finishes, fabrics and tapware.
Each product record contains images, specifications, supplier details, prices, quantities and lead time.
Use these records to:
Review product selections.
Request approval.
Export schedules.
Prepare purchase orders.
Prepare client invoices.
Create schedules for different tasks
A schedule saves how you display your products. It saves your filters, grouping, sorting, columns and view.
Task | Schedule setup |
Show a client the products in each room. | Group by Location. |
Check the budget. | Show the pricing fields you need. |
Prepare information for a joiner. | Filter by the Joinery category. |
These schedules use the same product records. When you change a product’s details, the change appears in every schedule that includes that product.
Display settings control how a schedule shows the records. They do not change the product details.
Name and pin schedules so you can find them again.
Choose a view that suits your task: Classic, Sheet, Card or List. Classic is the default view.
To show schedule and group totals, turn on Financial in Display options.
To show individual product prices, use Sheet columns or List display properties.
Specify products and allocate quantities
A product’s category controls which technical fields appear.
For example, a light fitting can have fields for IP rating, kelvin and lumens. Paint can have fields for coats and application details.
Products in the same category use consistent fields. This helps you compare their specifications in a schedule.
If you use a product in more than one room, add each location to its record. Enter the quantity for each location.
The quantities for all locations make up the product’s total quantity. Each location
uses the same product specifications. Change a shared specification once to update it for all locations.
Use bulk actions to make the same change to several products. For example, assign a supplier or update a status.
Check changes and decisions
Use these records to check what changed and what you issued:
Product history shows recorded edits to one product.
Revisions identify a named round of changes and the products affected.
Issues keep the exact PDF exported for a particular round. The live specification can continue to change.
These records let you check earlier changes and issued PDFs without recreating an earlier version from the current schedule.
