How to transfer account ownership

Transfer account ownership to another team member for succession planning or role changes.

This guide shows you how to transfer your Programa account to a new owner when the original owner leaves your organization or you need to change primary account control.


Important: You must have access to the current owner's account to complete this transfer. If you don't have the password, use the "Forgot my password" option on the login screen to reset it first.

Transferring ownership

  1. Log into the current owner's account

  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to your studio name in the top left corner

  3. Select Settings

  4. Click the People tab

  5. Find the team member you want to make the new owner

  6. Click the drop-down arrow to the right of their name

  7. Select Transfer Ownership

  8. Click Confirm

Note: The new owner will immediately gain full administrative access, and the previous owner will become a regular team member.
