How to organize your Product Library with categories

Create and manage categories to organize your products logically. Structure your library to match your workflow.

This guide shows you how to assign categories to your products so you can quickly filter and find items when building project specifications.


Categorizing your products

Easily assign product categories to each of your products in the Product Library.

  1. Navigate to the Product Library tab in your left-hand toolbar

  2. Click on the product you would like to categorize (scroll or search by product name)

  3. Scroll down to the Product Category dropdown and select the category that best suits your product

  4. Your changes will save automatically

Note: Categorizing products enables quick filtering by product category, price, brand, supplier, or lead time when searching your library.


Bulk assigning product categories

Easily assign product categories in bulk from your library.

  1. Select the products you want to categorise by clicking the circle icon

  2. Click Assign Category in the bulk actions menu

  3. Choose the product category to confirm
