Sharing your schedule online can be done in two ways: publishing it to the web or publishing it to the client dashboard. Both methods have their benefits, but each is best suited for specific situations.

Sharing your Schedule with the Online Link:

Using the online link is a simple way to share your schedule with others. The link is always up to date, ensuring that your clients and contractors have access to the most recent version of your schedule.

Instructions:

  1. Go to the schedule that you want to share.

  2. Click the Share button in the toolbar.

  3. Turn on the Publish to Web option.

  4. Choose what information to display or hide by toggling the various fields on or off.

  5. Preview your online schedule by clicking the Box and Arrow icon.

  6. Copy the link by clicking the Two Document icon.

  7. Send the link to your recipient.

Sharing your Schedule using the Client Dashboard:

The client dashboard is a powerful tool that provides a consolidated access point for designers to publish project schedules and files for their clients to review. With customizable features like publishing and unpublishing schedules, hiding sensitive details, and adding custom branding, the dashboard streamlines project management and saves time.

Instructions:

  1. Click the Share button in the toolbar.

  2. Turn on the Publish to Client Dashboard option.

  3. Add your client's email address to the field provided and click Add.

  4. Customize the information visibility settings by clicking the dropdown arrow in the No Access field. By default, the brand, supplier, pricing, and detailed view information are switched off. If you want to publish these fields, simply turn on the associated toggle.

  5. Repeat the process for each schedule you want to publish to the client dashboard.

Once you've shared the schedule, your client will receive an email notification. There is no limit to the number of clients or schedules you can add to your dashboard.

Presentation Mode:

Your clients are able to switch their presentations over to a presentation mode if they would prefer a large, big card based display of their schedules. Focusing on imagery rather than information.

To switch the schedule to presentation mode:

1. Open up the live link of the schedule, or click into the live schedule from your Client dashboard.
2. Select the Four square icon to the top right hand side of your schedule.

Optional Columns:

You have the option to show or hide specific columns in your live link. Each column contains several product information fields. When a column is hidden, all the corresponding information fields will not appear in your schedule. Likewise, when a column is shown, all the related information fields will appear in your schedule.

You can choose to show or hide as many columns as you like.

Optional column information fields:

  • View Supplier: Company name, contact name, contact email and product website and SKU code

  • View brand: Product name and brand name

  • View pricing: Financial tab

  • View details: Details page (or online spec sheet) for each product

  • Can Approve: Allows the ability for clients to approve and reject items.

Sharing FAQs

Will my clients be able to approve or reject products using the Client Dashboard?
Yes, your clients can approve and reject products within your schedule. Head here to view our product approvals guides.

Is it possible to hide specific information from my clients?
Yes, you can use the field toggle options in your PDF export and live shared versions of your schedules to show or hide different information fields from individual clients.

Can different people on the same project have different Dashboard access settings?
Yes, you can set access levels per client, allowing each person to have different levels of access to the dashboard.

Is it possible to have varying access levels for recipients of a Shared Link?
Any changes made to access settings for a Shared Link will apply to all recipients of that link. Therefore, access levels will be uniform for everyone with the Shared Link. If you need to set different access levels for different clients or contractors, we suggest using the Client Dashboard link instead.

Can I keep my Schedule private while I work on it?

Can I use my Client Dashboard to share to Trades or Contractors?
You can set up your Trade or contractor as a "Client" to your Dashboard to share schedules and files with them. Simply add their email address to the Publish to Client Dashboard field and set their access level.

Will my existing links and QR codes still work using the new sharing system?
If you have previously shared schedule links or QR codes with clients or contractors, there is no need to resend them. Your links and codes will remain active, and you can modify their access levels from your share settings without the need to reissue them.

Can clients see my trade pricing or mark-up percentage?

If you have turned on the "Add Mark-up" toggle, then no, clients will only be able to view the RRP, the percentage client savings and the total client price. Your mark-up percentages and trade price will not show.
