Note: This guide is for projects that use the new Schedules and the project dashboard. For older projects that use the Client Dashboard, see How to share your Pinboard online (legacy projects).
Share a pinboard with your client, builder or trades. They see it on their project dashboard, in Project Files.
Before you begin, set up your dashboard. Refer to How to set up your Project Dashboard
Share a pinboard
Open the Share drawer. Do one of these:
Open the pinboard, then select Share at the top right.
In Project Files, select ⋯ next to the pinboard, then select Share.
Optional: To see the pinboard as your guest sees it, select Preview pinboard.
In Share with..., enter your guest's email address, or select a contact from your address book.
Select or clear Email guests:
Selected: Programa emails your guest. You can add a personal note in Message.
Cleared: Programa doesn't send an email. Copy the Project link and send it to your guest yourself.
Select Share.
If Project Files isn't on for your guest, Programa asks you to turn it on. Select Turn on and share.
Your guest then shows under Shared with. The status is Shared, not viewed yet until they open the pinboard.
To share many pinboards or files at once, use Share project. Refer to How to share content with your guests.
Share a public link
Use a public link when someone needs to see the pinboard but isn't a guest.
Select Share.
Select the Public tab.
Set the public link to on.
Copy the link.
Send the link.
Anyone with the link can see the pinboard. When you turn the link off and on again, the link stays the same.
What your guest sees
Your guest can see the pinboard in two modes:
Presentation mode (default): hides the notes and links, so your images are the focus. Your guest can select an image to see its notes and links.
Detail mode: shows the notes and link icons on the pinboard.
To change the mode, your guest selects the play icon (Presentation mode) or the list icon (Detail mode) at the top right.
Manage or remove access
In the pinboard, select Share, then select ⋯ next to the guest. Then choose one of these options:
Preview pinboard as: see the pinboard as your guest sees it.
Email pinboard again: send the email again. Their access doesn't change.
Manage pinboard visibility: open your guest's project visibility, with Project Files open.
Remove access to pinboard: remove this pinboard only. Your guest can still see the project and other items that you share.
To turn off a public link, set it to off in the Public tab.
Programa doesn't send an email when you remove access. You can share again at any time.
