Use Actions to make the same change to several products. Use Sheet to enter different values for individual products.
For example, assign one supplier to twenty products with Actions. To enter a different RRP price for each product quickly, use Sheet.
1. Make the same change to several products
Select the checkbox beside each product.
Check the number of selected products in the bottom bar.
Open Actions.
Select an action, such as Update status.
Choose the value to apply to the selected products. Apply the change.
To find a command, use Search actions at the top of the menu.
Check whether the bottom bar shows · max. This indicates a selection limit. Filter the list to a smaller set, then check that all the products you need are selected.
Undo a change
After you update a status, add an internal or external note, add locations, or add or remove product labels, a Products updated message appears. Select Undo within 10 seconds to restore the previous values.
Products that someone changed in the meantime stay as they are. Other actions, such as changing the supplier or category, cannot be undone this way.
2. Enter different values in Sheet
Use Sheet to quickly enter prices, quantities or other details directly in the cells. You do not need to open each product.
Open Display options and select Sheet.
Open Displayed fields. Select the fields you need.
Select a cell and enter the value for that product.
For short values, such as prices and quantities, press Enter or select the next cell to save.
For long text, select the cell to open the expanded editor. Press Enter to add a new line.
To save, select Save or press Cmd+Enter on Mac or Ctrl+Enter on Windows.
To discard changes, press Escape or select Cancel. If you click outside the editor with unsaved changes, it stays open.
Check products that were skipped or could not update
Before an action runs, Programa lists the products it will skip and explains why. For example, a product needs a supplier before you can include it in an order.
If an action fails, the products stay selected. You can try the action again without selecting them again.
