This guide shows you how to generate estimated price ranges for products in your schedule using Programa's AI pricing estimator, so you can plan budgets and proposals before confirming final pricing with vendors.

If you've selected a product in your schedule but still need to confirm the RRP (Recommended Retail Price), our AI pricing estimator can provide an estimated price range based on multiple data sources, along with a confidence level for that estimate

💡Important note: To generate an estimate, your product must have both Product Name and Brand Name filled out in the schedule.

Generating a price estimate

  1. Navigate to the Financial tab in your schedule

  2. Hover over the product line - the Pricing Estimator button will appear next to the Quote button on the right side

  3. Click the Pricing Estimator button and wait a few seconds for the estimate to generate

  4. The estimated price will automatically populate in your RRP field

  5. To view the confidence level for the estimate, click the i icon next to the RRP label field

Note: If a price already exists in the RRP field, the estimate button and estimate won't display. If you remove the existing price, either the estimate will reappear immediately (if previously generated) or the estimate button will appear so you can generate a new estimate.

Understanding estimates and confidence levels

Price estimates provide a helpful range based on available product details, recent pricing data, and current market trends. These are starting points for budget planning - not exact prices. Actual costs may vary depending on supplier, quantity, customization, or market conditions.

Each estimate includes a confidence level:

  • High — Strong matches with consistent pricing data

  • Medium — Good matches within a reasonable price range

  • Low — Based on similar products with some price variation

  • Very Low — Limited data available; use only as a rough guide

Note: For important purchases or client quotes, always confirm pricing directly with suppliers. These estimates are meant to guide you when planning budgets or proposals - they’re not exact prices. Actual costs can change depending on the supplier, quantity, customization, or market conditions.
