Understanding task notification behavior
Important: Programa's task notifications are designed to avoid redundant alerts. You won't receive a notification for actions you perform yourself - only when other team members make changes to tasks you're assigned to.
Here's when you'll receive notifications:
Task assigned: When someone else assigns a task to you
Task unassigned: When someone else removes you from a task (you won't be notified if you unassign yourself)
Status changed: When another assignee updates the task status
Due date changed: When another assignee modifies the due date
Comment added: When another assignee adds a comment
Phase changed: When another assignee moves the task to a different phase
Example: If you create a task and assign it to yourself and a colleague, you won't receive a notification about the assignment (since you performed the action), but your colleague will. However, if your colleague then adds a comment or changes the status, you'll receive a notification since they performed that action.
Note: Notification emails are sent in batches every 15 minutes, so you may experience a brief delay before receiving them.
