How to manage your subscription

View your current plan, upgrade or downgrade, and manage billing information.

This guide shows you how to update your subscription, manage billing details, and pause your account so you can maintain control over your Programa plan.


Programa offers two subscription types: monthly for flexibility, and yearly with a 20% discount. View our current pricing structure here.

Before you begin: Only studio Owners and Admins can manage subscriptions. If you don't see the Billing option in Settings, contact your account owner or admin. Need to update access levels? See: Managing user roles and permissions


Updating your subscription plan

  1. Click the dropdown arrow next to your studio name

  2. Select Settings

  3. Navigate to the Billing tab

  4. Click Manage Billing

  5. Click Manage your subscription

From here, you can:

  • Switch between monthly and yearly plans: Click Update subscription, toggle your preference, then click Continue

  • Add or remove payment methods: Add a new method before removing the old one (you must have at least one payment method on file)

  • Update your billing address, and access your invoice history


Viewing and downloading invoices

Follow the steps above to access your subscription in Stripe, then scroll to the bottom of the page to see your invoice history. Click any invoice to download a copy.


Pausing your subscription

Pause your account for 3 or 6 months when you need a break—your subscription resumes automatically afterward.

  1. Click the dropdown arrow next to your studio name

  2. Select Settings

  3. Navigate to the Billing tab

  4. Click Pause Subscription

  5. Select 3 months or 6 months from the dropdown menu

  6. Click Pause my subscription to confirm

Important details about pausing:

  • The pause starts at the end of your current billing period—you won't be charged during the pause

  • You can't access your account while paused, and all shared project links will be disabled

  • Monthly plans: pause once per billing cycle. Yearly plans: pause up to three times per billing cycle

  • You'll receive an email reminder 2 weeks before your subscription resumes

  • Resume early anytime by logging in and accessing Billing Settings
