Programa offers two viewing modes for your pinboards: Detail Mode and Presentation Mode. This guide shows you how to switch between these modes to customize your pinboard display for different audiences and purposes.
Using Pinboard viewing modes
Understanding the viewing modes
Presentation Mode: creates a clean, distraction-free view by hiding notes and hyperlinks from your pinboard.
β
This mode is ideal for client presentations where you want to showcase your designs without visual clutter. You can still access notes and hyperlinks by clicking into any image.
βDetail Mode displays note snippets and hyperlink icons directly on your pinboard's main view. This mode is useful when you need quick access to project details and references without clicking into individual images.
Note: If you don't see the Presentation Mode button on your pinboard, it means there aren't any notes or hyperlinks to hide yet. Add notes or links to your pinboard items to activate this feature.
Switching to Presentation Mode
Locate the play button icon at the top right corner of your screen
Click the play button icon to activate Presentation Mode
Your pinboard will now display a clean view with notes and hyperlinks hidden
Click into any image to access its notes and hyperlinks
Switching to Detail Mode
Locate the bullet point list icon at the top right corner of your screen
Click the bullet point list icon to enter Detail Mode
Your pinboard will now show note snippets and hyperlink icons on the main view
Viewing modes in shared pinboards
Both viewing modes are available in pinboards you share with clients and collaborators. This allows recipients to choose their preferred viewing experience. By default, shared pinboards open in Presentation Mode.
Your clients can toggle between modes using the same icons at the top right of their screen, giving them control over how they review your designs.
