Our Web Clipper tool will help streamline the process of updating existing products within Schedules with just a few simple steps. Say goodbye to manual editing and hello to a quicker, more efficient way of managing your schedules. Follow the step by step guide below to learn how!

Video Demonstration:

Please note: Our platform's design has recently been updated, so you may notice differences in screenshots and videos in this guide compared to the current layout. The steps and functionality outlined in this guide remains the same.

Instructions:

  1. Head to the product website.

  2. Launch the Web Clipper tool, which is available as a google chrome extension (Here is a guide on how to install the Web Clipper)

  3. Use the Web Clipper to capture the relevant product information and imagery. (Here is a guide on how to add a product to your schedule using the Web Clipper)

  4. Before clipping the product into your schedule, it's important to enter the Doc code of the existing product within the specific section and schedule that you are wanting to edit or add information too.

  5. After typing in the Doc code that relates to the product you are wanting to edit, select the Clip button and choose the Project, Schedule and Section.

  6. The existing product in your chosen Schedule and Section with that particular Doc code will be automatically updated with the newly clipped information and imagery.

Common Questions:

Will entering a Doc code update all products with the same code across my entire schedule or projects?

The magic of the Web Clipper lies in its precision. The update will only apply to products with the specific Doc code within the project, schedule, and section you are working on.

What if I have multiple products with the same Doc code within a schedule and section, and I want to avoid unintended updates?

If you're using Doc codes to differentiate between different options within your schedule as an example, we recommend web clipping without entering a Doc code initially. Once the product is added, you can manually enter the appropriate Doc code to ensure selective updates.

What if I don't typically use Doc codes?

Not a problem! If you prefer not to use Doc codes, we suggest entering any temporary code while editing the product information using the Web Clipper. You can always delete the code later if it's not needed.
