How to structure your Schedules

Based on our analysis of various project schedules, we've devised a structure that's user-friendly and minimizes the chances of manual data entry errors. Please note that this list is specifically designed for interior designers; architects might require additional schedules.

We recommend organising the following 4 separate schedules:

- Materials & Finishes

- Fittings & Fixtures

- Lighting

- FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)

Each schedule should be subdivided into sections based on broad product categories. For instance, in your Materials & Finishes schedule, you can create sections like Floor Finishes, Wall Finishes, Joinery Finishes, and so on. Similarly, in the Lighting schedule, sections could include Wall Lights, Downlights, Track & Strip Lighting, Pendant Lights, GPOs & Light Switches, and more.

With Programa, you only need to add a product once, even if it's used in multiple areas or spaces. This approach streamlines product updates โ€“ changes are made to a single entry rather than multiple ones (as in an area-based structure). The product's document code will indicate its placements in your plans. You can also list locations in the schedule's product details field.

Keep in mind that this is a guideline. If you have a preferred structure that works for you, our adaptable Programa schedules can easily accommodate it.
